When you ask a question you need to provide some basic information

-Forum quick start https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-5601

Mac or Windows, and EXACTLY which version of the operating system?

Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems

Are you using a computer Administrator account with full read/write permission?

Exactly which version of the program do you have that is causing problems?

What is the exact error message that you see?

I am having the same problem with both premiere & after effects. I would launch them and it would go just a little bite the FREEZE!, no errors, no NOTHING!. So I just backward both to the first update for 2017, and at this point, I am having no problems.

So I suggest go backward's and see what happens!.

Hi, I'm having this problem too. I'll trim a clip in the timeline and get the beach ball. I'll razorblade a clip and get the beach ball. I'll slide a clip and get the beach ball. I'll push play and wait 15 seconds for it to play, you get the idea. Very simple stuff. Seems okay in the morning when I start editing but by mid afternoon I shut things down, walk away for a while, reboot and it seems to be better for a while.

Any suggestions for work-arounds, etc.?

Thanks, Paul
