I am doing a project and have got over 1.20 minutes into the video.

However on the timeline the sound on the video stops and the sound wave disappears. When I look at the original video footage in the Microsoft TV and Film program the sound is there.

I have checked the space on the hard drive and I still have 21.6GB space available.

What model of camcorder is your original video coming from? What file format and resolution is the video?

How long is your longest video clip?

Which version of the program are you using on what operating system?

On a C or main hard drive, 20 gigs is very little space for the program to operate. I'd never use a C drive with less than 50-60 gigs of free, clean, freshly defragmented space. So that very much could be impacting your work.

How large is your hard drive? Which processor do you have and with how much RAM?
