Importing Lightroom CC catalog into lightroom 6

Is it possible to load a catalog from the latest version of Lightroom CC into 6. I am looking to purchase the perpetual version of Lightroom but wont if I can't work with existing catalogs.

CC and 6 share the same code. The only difference is how you log in and activate is, depending on the licensing model you selected.

Therefore, the catalog stays the same and you can open the same catalog in CC and in 6.

No importing needed. The catalog created by LR CC should open in LR 6.

LR CC 2015 and LR 6 are exactly the same program. The differences come from how you Sign In.

So a LR 6 catalog and a LR CC 2015 catalog are Exactly the same. No need to import anything. Just Open the catalog.
