calculation issues

hello guys

field 1 * field 40 @.10 is what I've come up with so far what i need is a script for a minimum amount

example

5000 x .10 = 500

500 x .10 = 50 automatically covers the 50 into 100

this is the simplified field notation i have on it now

(bond_amount1)*0.1

sorry in advanced for being a noob Ive searched all over the web for this answer

i know this might be for a different post but i also need a script from

example : in field 42 i have a cash amount but i need that to automatically change itself in field 43 to that amount but in text

So what exactly are you after? Applying a minimum value to a calculated field? Converting a number into text?

Please clarify.

both .

in 1 field will go the caluculated field with a minimum value then from the calculated value to convert into text into another field.
