Unable to access Lightroom online catalogue in Lightroom desktop

I have recently edited some photos on Lightroom for Ipad, however I have been unable to access these on my Mac using the desktop version. It asks me to sign in to sync, which I do, however nothing appears and when I try to sync again it again asks me to sign in - its like it does not register the sign in properly. It is really frustrating. Can someone please help!

Lr mobile can be a little frustrating. First of all I assume you've signed in to the same account on the iPad and the Desktop.

Have a look in Preferences under the Lightroom menu on Mac. There's an LR mobile tab. Click this. Under Location, there's an option for the location images from mobile devices go. Check this location on your machine to see if something is there.
