Since the last update I cannot get my photographs to render correctly.
It appears as though the pictures are stuck and will not focus correctly.
I had originally imported the pictures prior to the most recent update and things were fine. I was able to see the photographs nice and clear and now nothing after the update.
How do I need to fix this issue?
I'm getting ready for some travel soon and this will be a once in a life time deal kind of like a wedding. I do not want to miss this opportunity of creating some great art work.
Thanks,
In your reply #19 there is no Histogram showing and the words "Photo is missing."
Did you move the image files from outside LR using Explorer of Finder, or perhaps disconnect an external drive?

Thanks for any help.

Your image did not post. If you are trying to do this from your phone that will not work. You must post images from your computer.

Hello Jim,
No I was trying to do this from my computer not my phone.
I'm doing a screen shot with my LR open to show that the final rendering of
the picture will not come through.
Not sure how it would turn out if I save the picture then attach it?
Any advice would be welcomed.
Mike

Not sure what to tell you. I use Windows which has the Snipping Tool. It's pretty simple to capture an image to post.

Did this work?

Make sure you are posting the image from the Adobe website using the "insert picture" button on the post editor.

So the last couple I sent didn't come through?

I'm running Windows as well.
Here is a snip of the full screen.

If you're using the snipping tool like I do, you click on the new icon and then highlight the area that you want captured. Then you save it where you will know where to find it. I choose to save it as a JPEG. Then in the forum you click on the highlighted icon in the toolbar and choose the name of the file that you want to post. I just leave it named the default name which is Capture.jpg.

That's what I thought I was doing?
I saved it on the desk top. But I did change the name to photograph test.
Is there a 1-800 that I can call ? Speak to someone live?
I'm sure you are all very busy and I hate to waste your time here.

You're not wasting anyone's time, really.
Did you use the Snipping Tool?
Did you highlight an area?
Did you save the highlighted area as an image?
What did you name the image?
Did you choose that file when you wanted to add the image to your message?
Were you able to see that image in your message after you added the image and before you posted it?

Yes I found the snipping tool.
Yes, I highlighted the area.
Yes, the name is Capture..JPG
I attached the image to the last email.

You attached the image to an e-mail? In other words, you are not going to the forum and following along in the forum itself? If not, that is probably why your images are not attaching you need to be in the forum. Here is the link to where you need to be in your browser, not in an e-mail:

No I've been attaching them to all the emails.
Didn't realize it had to be in the forum.
I will try to find the original post then.

At this point it might just be easier to just start a new thread.

Could this also be attributed to my calibration with the Spyder5Pro?
I may have selected that the last time I calibrated my monitor?

EUREKA! One thing it could be is an incompatible graphics driver. One thing to try would be to switch to an sRGB driver Temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

Okay in this instance I'm not sure where or how to switch the driver?

If you right-click on the start menu you might see the control panel. If not, click on Search and type in Control Panel. When the control panel comes up, click on Color Management. In the dialog that appears click the checkbox, "Use my settings for this device". Then click on the add button and scroll until you find sRGB IEC619662.1 and select that profile to replace the one that you have been using. Now I am suggesting that "might" fix the problem. I'm also telling you that it might not. So you will have to decide if you want to give it a try.

I did make that change and that didn't seem to help.
Any other suggestions?
Is there a way to reinstall prior to the updates?

Hello Jim,
I did try those changes as suggested and it didn't appear to help.
Is there anything else that might help my situation?
I have some photo jobs coming up and need to be able to edit those pictures.
