I recently had to reset my mac so with it I lost all my previous settings for photoshop when I installed a clean version.

I have two frustrations regarding exporting images for web, but as this is a forum I will ask one at a time.

The question: How do I get export to remember my last exported location?

I have design files sitting in one folder (design) and I export images to a development server (localhost). Every time I have to export an image I have to navigate from documents to the localhost.

Thank you.

While using the "Save for web" legacy export settings press (Ctrl/command+Shift+Alt+S to save for web). It will remember the settings so you can change quality, file type too if you want (png, gif, etc).

Thanks,
