I changed:
myFile = File.openDialog("Select a TXT file to proceed","*.txt",false),
To:
myFile = "~/Desktop/TREND US Pricing List_MikeTest4-24.txt" //give your entire path
And it didn't change any of the prices. I also received this error after the script ran:

Yes I'm using Ananth@design script with your edit made to it. But I'm using it in conjunction with batch_convert script to batch process multiple InDesign documents. Here is a screen cap:
I ran the edited script without using batch_convert script on one open InDesign document and received this error:
Ananth@design original script works with batch_convert script, but I have to navigate to the "price list.txt" file each time a InDesign document is opened by the batch_convert script.

Within InDesign, I double-click Peter Kahrel batch_convert script and enter the following options in the dialog box below and click OK:
Ananth@desgin script then changes all the prices (based on the tab-delimited txt file) to the documents in the Input folder and copies the updated price change documents to the Output folder.
