Is there a plugin or a way that allows me to filter/sort through the thousands of videos I've added to Lightroom (some of which have been added by cell phones others by DSLRs others by GoPros..) and show me the highest resolution?
Im curious because obviously lightroom wasn't written for video purposes but if there was a plugin that could write meta data that could be filtered by the Any Searchable Plug-in Filed.
You can use smart collections to search for videos having their long side larger than a certain amount, e.g.
You could also use the Megapixels criterion (width x height), though it's poorly designed, rounding megapixels to tenths of a megapixel, making it impossible to distinguish 1440 x 1080 (1.555 MP) from 1920 x 1080 (2.073 MP).
The Data Explorer plugin will sort videos by their dimensions.
