camera raw and DNG converter installation but can't open CR images at Ps

I have a new camera Canon EOS 77D.  Camera raw 9.10 and DNG Converter 9.10 have been installed successfully.  I tried to open CR images at Photoshop but keep getting the following:

Photoshop cannot open this file.

If u r attempting to open a raw file a digital camera, make sure u have the latest Camera Raw update installed via Help> Updates

Just to make sure: Photoshop CC > About Plug-ins > Camera Raw indicates Version 9.10…?

Also keep in mind that DNG Converter is an application of its own that can be used to convert Raw Files to DNG in bulk.
