When I try to open a file in Indesign 2017 CC I get the following message "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file is in use by another application." I hit OK and then try to open the file again and it opens with no issues, why does this happen?
I doubt anyone could figure that out with so little information, especially since it was a transitory problem.
When I have problems I try these simple things: (1) quit out of the application or (2) reboot the computer. If it persists, I'd try restoring my InDesign preferences, or, if it only happened with one file, I'd try saving it as an IDML to get rid of file corruption.
