I have LR 6 stand alone on desktop and PC. Cannot use CC as I need laptop in a very remote area I often work in which has no internet connection and often limited telephone landline and/or mobile.

Recently got this error message on laptop, similar message on PC has now been fixed, but I cannot find a solution.

Error message:

"Procedure entry point not found AgTtransitCargo-pushTransitCargo could not be located in Dynamic link libraryAgKernal.dll."

I also have PS5 download on same laptop and that is still OK.

I would really appreciate any help with this as I am starting to go around in circles.

Hi FrankFitzpatrick,

You can try reset the Lightroom preferences back to default, refer: Preference file and other file locations | Lightroom CC and 6

If the above solution doesn't solve your problem then you can uninstall the Lightroom, restart the machine and reinstall it from the creative cloud desktop app.

I had the same problem, and so I followed your recommendation:

But after uninstalling and reinstlling LR 6.6 (standalone version) and downloading and running the Update ZIP file, I still get the same error message: "procedure entry point ucvtbase.terminate...." not found.

As a consequence, I cannot use LR at all, neither the previous version 6.6 nor the most recent version (6.10?) which U would have needed to edit files  from Olympus EM1-II.

So I am totally frustrated.

What should I do?

Thanks, but unfortunately the suggestion did not work. The error message reappeared after installing the Windows vc_redist.x64.exe

I thend deinstalled LR, restarted the computer and then re-installed LR 6 (the copy that I had bought at the end of last year). It worked as it had done before the upgrade. But when I then installed the Update Zip to LR 6.10 (which I need for the Oly EM1-II), I again saw the error message and could not start LR.

Any other suggestion?
