Hi

I have contacted ADOBE support multiple times and they find below issue to hot to handle and give up easily.

The issue we have is a simple one in that some documents open on a laptop (ADOBE X PRO + WIN10) and are easy to edit etc.

The same document when opened on desk top machine (ADOBE STANDARD DC + WIN 7 Pro) are possible to edit but the data offered on screen is mis-formatted and process for editing becomes very hard.

We upgraded the desktop system to ADOBE PRO DC (end April 2017 version) to check - but no difference.

Contacted support who looked at the system and suggested that it is to do with FONTS or the screen resolution.

So we copied all the fonts from laptop and installed them on desktop.

Setup the same resolution.

Again no difference - same mis-formatted document - difficult to edit!!!

Any recommendation from anyone out there to try?

Hi Ketan-NSL,

Please let us know if you experience issue in editing a particular file or all the files.

Is it possible for you to share a file with us with which you are experiencing this issue?

Also, share the exact dot version of both the application and OS where you have tested the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hello

Thank you for your email.

The issue is with some files and in particular to the  larger ones.

I attach the file in question which has been used for testing.

The laptop has ADOBE PRO X and the desktop has the ADOBE ACOBAT PRO DC latest
version ( 2015 CLASSIC – NUMBER 2015.006.30306) installed last week.

I do not have the laptop available at present moment as it belongs to a
staff who has his personal copy installed. I can provide this information next
week on his return.

The issue seems to be that on the laptop, when certain files are opened,
the edit function does seems to format and present the data in easy form making
editing simple.

However, the same file when opened on the desktop office machine, the
data is presented in different grouped boxes and makes editing very difficult
as everything moves around whilst editing.

If possible I would like to talk to someone on the phone and then invite
the support person via team viewer or similar functionality to view the
differences.

On my last encounter with the support at ADOBE, I was told that it might
be because of fonts or screen resolution. To this effect, I copied all the
fonts from the laptop to the desktop system and had the same screen resolution.

Nothing improved with this suggestion.

Please help as you might notice from my account page that this issue has
been raised multiple times in last 10 days, but no resolution.

Thank you and regards.
