I have a Dell laptop with 4 K resolution and when I am in Lightroom working on a photo and decide to use a plugin to edit in like one of the Nik software plugins the plugin works just fine like it should. When I am in Photoshop and try to use the same plugin the plugin opens and the menues etc and all print is almost unreadable it is so small. How do I fix this ongoing issue?

Hi MarkRLawrence,

Which version of Photoshop are you using?

Does the print work if you print without the plugin in use? Ensure that the plugin is updated.

Take a look at this article Troubleshoot Photoshop printing problems and follow the steps mentioned.

Thanks,

Akash

I am not trying to print anything. Visually the entire plugin program opens with small menues.

Sent from my Bell Samsung device over Canada's largest network.

Does these Plugins apps open fine otherwise?

Could you please help us with screenshots comparing the two scenarios?

Photoshop has a scalable UI, but that doesn't mean your plug-in does. The Nik plug-ins probably only have a fixed size for the UI and that UI was designed for old lower resolution monitors, so on your screen it's tiny.

Hi Tom,

So why does it work in lightroom correctly and not in Photoshop?

Please see attached.

Mark.
