I wrote a book in MS Word and just converted it to PDF and plan to link it to an internet website to make it availible to the public. It is OK for people to read it, but I do not want them to be able to copy/paste, to print, or to convert into other forms

Can someone help answer this question. For PDF questions, Adobe does not have any kind of phone or email support, but directs us to this public forum.

Using Adobe Acrobat you can apply a security policy that prevents the user from doing all of that, BUT non-Adobe viewers might not enforce that policy at all, or in parts. If you really want to protect your file you need to use DRM technology, but that is very expensive.
