I have seen this question asked here but there was no correct answer. The only suggestion was to check the PS>prefs>3D. There is nothing in prefs that would reveal this missing interface.

The issue is that the documentation states there is an edit button to edit the rendering options that sits next to the preset drop down. There is no such button and all the functionality described in the documentation is not found. This has been an issue for some time according to previous questions. I would have thought this would have been fixed in the 2017 version.

How do you edit render settings without this dialog??

A lot of 3D documentation refers to CS5, this has been highlighted to Adobe.

From CS6 onwards the panels changed , and the 3D render settings are now in preferences.
