I recently purchased a new 27" iMac, with 24 GB RAM. Using InDesign CS6 and it is continually crashing upon import of any file. Occasionally on export to PDF. This computer came loaded with Sierra 10.12.4. My home computer, also an iMac that upgraded to Sierra is having no issues with crashes and InDesign CS6. Same software, same OS, except the problem child computer is NEW. Any solutions?

CS6 is unsupported under anything later than 10.10. Some folks get it to work, others can’t even get it installed. You are essentially on your own here but here’s a few suggestions:

If you migrated the applications, uninstall, run the CC Cleaner Tool and reinstall properly.

Trash your preferences.

Wait for someone that might be able to help.
