According to this page, the Nikon version of the lens was added in 2015.2

https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html#Sigma

The Lightroom versions of the lens profiles are stored in the "resources" folder in the Lightroom installation folder. On my Win10 box, it is at

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\LensProfiles\1.0\Sigma

If I am reading the file names correctly, that lens seems to be included for all the major cameras in the 6.10 (2015.10) version of LR.

Which LR version do you have?

Thanks ManiacJoe, based on your answer I have found the issue because I had to asked my good old friend Google where to find this directory on a Mac. During that search I have found another story which guided me to the solution.

I tried to do the lens correction unfortunately on a TIFF instead of RAW which I had handover to PS. So as in most cases the problem is located 30 cm in front of the screen

Are you shooting Raw or JPEG? There's more support for Raw and not all lenses have JPEG profiles.

@SeanMcCormack

I only shoot RAW, small JPG just to beam pictures on the iPad for the model.

Problem is found, I was on wrong format as in answer above.
