Turn off Find Overtext feature

I have created a fairly complex data merge project that typically takes as long as 20-minutes to spin through the entire merge. Much of the wait seems to be during the "Finding over text" portion of the process. Since I've rendered the document dozens of times, I know that there are no over text issues. Is there some way that I can turn this process off for the time being?

Did you deselect the overtext report feature?

In addition to Fenja's suggestion, maybe turning off "Preflight" would help. Or not... ^^

I've tried the idea of turning off Preflight and deselecting "Generate overtext...". But, inDesign just ignores the instructions. Plus, both items show to be turned back on after the process is done!

My project is now complete. But, if there's another way, I'm listening.
