Can't update any of the adobe programs???

Hi. I don't know if this is the right forum for this problem but anyway, I have a problem with my adobe apps not updating. I tried to update after effects cs6 manually from 11.0.0.378 to the latest version. It said that the installation was successful and that I should restart my system. I did that and when I checked if after effects had been updated, it was still on 11.0.0.378. And in my Creative Cloud app it doesn't show that I have any adobe software installed except for Acrobat X. But I have downloaded the CS6 Master Collection and got a license key from my teacher at school. So I have every program in that collection installed. Pls help me with this annoying issue ASAP.
