After Effects Crashing in Graph Editor

Whenever I go into the graph editor and try to mess around with the graph editor handles, AE always seems to crash. I can move a handle around until it gets to the halfway point, and then AE crashed. I can't get my transitions as smooth as I would like due to this issue.

That's not even close to an adequate description of the problem.

Basically, you've just called an auto repair shop and said, "My vehicle is making a funny noise.  Can you fix it?"

What GPU do you have?

What, exact, version of AE are you using?

What third-party plugins and scripts do you have installed?

What OS are you using?

Etc.

Basically, what Dave said - we need more info.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 GPU.

I'm using Adobe After Effects CC 2017. (Version 14.2.0.198)

The only third-party plugin I have installed is Twixtor.

I am using windows 7. I apologize for not giving the proper amount of information, I have never posted to a forum before. Please let me know if you need anything else.

What driver are you using for your GPU? There have been some odd issues with the latest one. So, if you are on the very latest, you might consider rolling back three or four versions.

I know it's a year on but I've noticed this same issue with CC17.

Crash upon editing bezier points/handles.

Chokes after a couple of minutes working in the graph editor.

Happening on two diff machines:

AE 2017.2    

14.2.1.34

Mac Pro (2013)          Macbook Pro (2015)

3 GHz 8-core             2.5 GHz i7

32 GB                        16 GB

AMD FirePro D700     AMD Radeon R9

I have the same issue. It doesn't crash on any graph editor but when I try to do it with specific layers. Iam eyt to find something common among those that crash the program.
