Hi

My After Effects would not start citing cmaps problem. After googling the problem I found that the cause of it is Fntcache.dat file

If I delete it and restart I can start AE no problem.

The problem though is that this cache rebuilds and after new restart the problem repeats.

How do I stop rebuilding corrupted Fntcache file?

Thanks in advance

Andrew

Without system info and other critical details like AE version, system language setting, AE language, fonts installed etc. nobody can tell you much. for all we know this could simply be a "bad" font that the system uses in some way, be that on a panel or customised UI settings at the system level. Even display options matter, since cached fonts are stored at the specific system resolution and that may affect things like hardware-based antialiasing and window drawing...
