Hi,
I recently replaced my old Macbook Pro with a Surface Book. I have a lot of InDesign-files that I would like to transfer to my new computer.
How do I do that without having to create a package for each of them?
Hope you can help me!
Kind regards,
Maja
Hi Maja,
We recently did this by saving the entire hard drive of InDesign files, linked images and fonts folder, in the exact same file tree to an external hard drive. When we work on one on the new machine we bring it over. We tend to save Indesign files and their links for this eventuality.
We also have our working files/folders mirrored on a cloud - just in case. I'm betting CC Libraries might work best but I haven't looked into this yet.

Try making a book file. Turn off all syncing and page renumbering options in the book file before you add the InDesign documents, then package the book.
