Tethering in Lightroom is only supported in Canon, Nikon and some Leica cameras

A few days ago it did list the x t2 also fuji said it was running.Any thoughts?

I've never seen any Fujifilm cameras in that list. Only Canon, Nikon and Leica.
What do you mean by Fuji said it was running? Do you mean they successfully tethered it with Lightroom? Got a link?

It was inserted bellow Leica. Fuji announced it had done it. That was why they developed X Acquire.

Here you see Lightroom, and then the xAcquire window with an X-T2 attached.
There is/was a Lightroom plugin for Fuji, but I don't recall where it was.

X Acquire is not a Lightroom Plug-in.
You need to use a 'watched folder' in Lightroom.
This Video goes though camera, X Acquire and Lightroom settings.

xAcquire opens as a little app in the system tray, doesn't it? I'm not sure it should ever show in Lightroom.
