Create icon on desktop?

Hi there,

Am I able to create an icon of my PDF document that will automatically open in Reader once I tap on it?

Hi Umagurl77,

As mentioned above, are you referring to the desktop device or mobile device?

if you are looking for this functionality in the mobile devices then its not possible to create a icon for the pdf.

When you download a pdf or try to open it on iOS, you get couple of options to open a pdf file or download (as shown below)

Apart from that you can not add a pdf separately on desktop screen.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

Hi Reneeg7863635,

I assume you are referring to the icon on the desktop? If yes, then you can simply "Save" the pdf file to the desktop location. And the pdf file will appear on your desktop as separate icon than Acrobat.
