When I open Photoshop CC (and Illustrator) on my Mac Book Pro the coloured wheel just rotates and my Mac is thinking but I can't use the program. I can't create a new doc or open. I think it might be a graphic processor issue. I can still use In Design fine. Can anybody help me? It's quite urgent. I'm not very tech savvy either. I'd love to chat to an expert so I can get this fixed ASAP. Thanks
If resetting Photoshop preferences doesn't work, try uninstalling Photoshop, using the drop down icon (gear wheel) in the Creative Cloud app, then run the Adobe Cleaner before reinstalling. Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences:
Close and relaunch Photoshop, and IMMEDIATELY hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences. You must be extremely fast on the keyboard (if you don’t see the confirmation prompt, you were too slow).
You may need to do this a couple of times before getting the hang of it!

Thanks Derek! That has worked so I'll see how I go over the week end. It's been a bit touch and go. Sometimes it wasn't freezing upon opening and other moments it was but I'll see how I go today, I've just left Photoshop open for now. Thank you for your help, much appreciated.
