Hello,

When I drag a video into After Effects CC 14.2, the video seems like a tiled jigsaw puzzle or something (it's difficult to explain so I've put an image below).

When exported, the video turns out fine.

Is there any way to stop this?

That's a codec problem with your original footage. Drag the original footage into the Adobe media encoder and try rendering a digital intermediate using a production format like JPEG 2000.

If you don't know what a production format is spend a little time doing some research.
