Lightroom 6 error message

Hi everyone, could anyone be of assistance? I updated Lightroom 6, and when I try to reopen the program, I get an error message saying that the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0-dll is missing from my computer. I'm running Windows 7 SP1. Has anyone had the same problem after updating Lightroom? And would anyone have a solution for this?
