InDesign 5.5 Crash on launch

Can someone please help me figure out why my InDesign Keeps crashing.

I have resent preferences, checked my fonts, and uninstalled and reinstalled.

work space opens for a few seconds then crashes.

CS5.5 is not supported under 10.12.

Someone may or may not have some suggestions but the chances of getting old software to work on a new operating system are no better than 50/50.

yeah I read that on another post. My Photoshop and Illustrator are running smoothly. InDesign is the only program crashing which is why I'm confused.
