I can't find the healing tool and the magic eraser doesn't want to work. Any ideas?

I think I figured it out after watching a tutorial. Basically I was trying to get rid of stray hairs lol

Hi,

If you can't find a tool that you know should be there, you might want to restore your default tools panel. I'm sending along some images, hope you find this helpful

I did that and I can highlight an area with the magic brush but either my lap top is being super slow or the program isn't running correctly because I can't get the tools to actually erase anything.

What are you trying to do? You shouldn't actually erase anything - you should be using masks. There is no magic brush in PS - there is a magic eraser... don't use it! Make a selection of what you want to get rid of and make a layer mask to hide it...
