going from LR5 to LR6 has slowed down nik efex. help

For some bright mind this will be an easy fix, I'm totally stumped and would love some help.

I've just upgraded from lr5 to Lr6. I use the nik efex plugins. After I've processed an image in nik and then try to develop it in lr6 it's really slow, it keeps having to reload the file.  But Here's the weird bit, if I try to develop a file previously developed in nik BEFORE the upgrade it works fine.  Thanks in advance.

sorted it! little old me, imagine that. just needed to update it from LR6 to 6.10.
