I'd like the ability to have a semi-transparent quick mask view in Color Range, just like is possible when using the Quick Mask tool.

Instead of having solid red, is it possible to change the opacity of Quick Mask when using the Color Range command?

Double-click the Quick Mask icon to set options (opacity, color and selected/unselected).

The Select > Color Range dialog will follow this, if you have the preview set to Quick Mask.

Hi

The Color Range "Quick Mask" preview uses the same colour and opacity that you set in Quick Mask.

So double click on the quick Mask icon in the toolbar

Then in the dialogue set the colour and opacity that you want.
