Does anyone know how to extract metadata from a pdf portfolio with Acrobat XI.    I tried using the Joel's Portfolio Utilities referenced on the blog below.   I see the Utility listed however, the Export Portfolio Metadata to Console is greyed out.

The link works for me... You can get it from Joel's blog: New Feature added to Joel’s PDF Portfolio Utilities: Version 1.7 – The PDF Developer Junkie Blog (the download link is all the way at the bottom of the page)

I was able to get the plugin.   I put the javascript file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Javascripts.  Under Edit, I see Joel's Portfolio Utilities but the only option that is not greyed out on that menu is the Combine All Open PDF Portfolios.   The option to Export Portfolio Metadata to Console is greyed out.

You have to remove the window split. Menu -> Window -> Remove Split

Then all of the Joel Utilities options should become active.

This is in the blog posts but not very prominent.

Hope it helps!
