Canvas hidden on iMac Retina 27'' Mac OsX Sierra

Photoshop CC 2017 is installed freshly and frequently there are all windows gone including canvas. Pulldown menus are active and open files are listed in the windows pulldown menu. There seems no way out of this except new start program. Drives me mad !! Does anybody know what is wrong?

Are you putting photoshop in a different Space from other applications?

Anyway, i've had that happen when using Spaces.

no - it happens for example after opening a new image or when i swish to another application. it remains hidden in mission control too.

Is your macOS Sierra updated to 10.12.5?

i'm using 10.12.4. there is no german version of that upgrade yet.

do you think that matters?

i have installed 10.12.5. Tried Photoshop. when I hide Photoshop and try to show it again - the same as before. No window shown, only pull down menu....

in the pulldown menu "window" the "application frame" is checked but grey and not clickable!!??

this is what i've done now:

delete Photoshop and copy an previous one from time machine.

now that problem seems to be solved.
