Screen Going black when opening

Hello, so im trying to get adobe after effects and everytime i change to after effects tab my screen goes black and the only thing i see is my mouse flashing.
I tryied photoshop too and i have no problems, i dont know if it is a  computer problem or after effect problem.
If someone could help, i would be apreciated

Try updating or rolling back your video driver directly from the video card manufacturer's site.
