After effects crash

Hi,

I've recently re-installed After Effects, but it has constantly crashed whenever i import any video into the composition. Is tehre anything i should do to avoid this?

Which version of After Effects have you installed and which OS are you on?

Is this issue specific to one clip or happening with all?
