Just upgraded to Sierra as above ,from Mavericks Os! But My photoshop won't rum and I get error code 6! I'm asked to uninstall and then reinstall but adobe uninstaller won't work! Can some one help me?
Photoshop is on the computer already ,it just won't run, that's the problem!!
Did you properly install it or how exactly did Photoshop get there?

Well, I have done nothing yet! as I said I have the files on the new system but photoshop won't run! I obviously don't want to lose all my photos etc! I just don't know how to go about sorting this problem out!

It appears all my photos are on the Mac drive I can see them by aphoto application on the computer! just need to be able to run CS5 really!!

What do your photographs have to do with whether Photoshop runs?

Well, I would like to do work on the photos, but I can't because cs5 won't run! It won't let me uninstall!

I was advised by Apple support to manually drag files into applications on the new system! So ,this is what I did with photoshop CS5!
Yes I did read post! Obviously,I'm not as cleaver as you!!

That does not sound like good advice, please try installing the application afresh after removing it cimpletely – I am not sure the Cleaner Tool will succeed in doing that but it should be worth a try.

Well,I don't think that's the problem! I am aware that CS5 is problematic with sierra! And it seems to be the exact problem I have, that it won't run, due to a security update!

Cleaner tool didn't uninstall any thing!! and the uninstall in adobe doesn't work either!!

The creative cloud cleaner tool isn't seeing any of the files on my mac! hence the message fixed 0 files!

Have you tried installing the application?
If that fails you may want to try manually removing all the components before installing.

Photoshop is not a file management- but an image editing application.
Where you stored your photographs is where they should still reside unless you or someone else (re-)moved them or they fell victim to some damage.

dmg is a Mac Disk Image File.
