Lightroom will not run on iPads. It's written for desktop operating systems such as macOS Sierra.

iPads can run Lightroom Mobile which you install via the App Store

An iPad uses Lightroom Mobile

A desktop computer uses Adobe Lightroom.

They are different apps.

For the iPad version you download the mobile App from the iTunes Store.
