Hi everyone,
I am using Adobe CC 2017 Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. When I open any of these programs, the program starts to crash. The screen either turns into black, blue or a screen with b/w streaks of lines. The other software I regularly use i.e. Word, Acrobat, etc. work fine. I suspect this may be due to graphics incompatibility with Adobe software.
Here is a bit of context:
This set is already reinstalled with a new Mac OS and a couple of days ago, replaced with a new graphics card, with video systems test passed. According to official Apple repair center in Singapore, I'm told that my model is 'vintage', and therefore no spare parts available for motherboard or graphics card. My new graphics card is from a third-party repair center. This new graphics card has worked miraculously in terms of managing to get the Mac OS boot up (previously I wasn't even able to pass through the progress bar upon bootup). However, with this new graphics card, Adobe software is not working.
When I managed to try and go under GPU Preferences inside the program (before it crashes), it states: Compatible GPU and monitor not detected.
Can anyone advise me please? Thank you in advance.
Desperate Richie

Can you turn off GPU acceleration before it crashes?
