My Lightroom 2015 is crashing for me

Lightroom is halted with a question if I like to end or debug the application.

I chose to debug and get flowing error message:

Unhandled exception at 0x0000000076F236F7 (atio6axx.dll) in lightroom.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000148.

If there is a handler for this exception, the program may be safely continued.

Do I need to reinstall Lightroom or any other suggestion to solve the problem

The problem occurred after an update of Radeon Graphics Drivers.

I uppdated to the recommended drive 17.4.4 without any improvement.

Next step was to update to version 17.52 and that solved the problem.

Thanks

First, update the driver for you ATI graphic card: Download Drivers

If that does not help, manually deactivate the GPU acceleration as described here: Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

If you are still having issues after this, remove and reinstall LR: Download Photoshop Lightroom
