!

in IE: rendering very clearly

in Chrome: not distinct, even cannot recognize the texts.

tip:

1.The flash player enumerates the same Fonts list between IE and Chrome.so, it is not adout the problem of the fonts support .

2.Not only with Chinese Fonts, but also the FTE renders error with English in Chrome.

Oh, What's the matter? How can i fix it?

Best Regards.

Hi,

  • Operating system version:

Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 10

  • Web browser and version:

          1.Internet Explorer 7(or 8,9,10 is all correct) ;

2.GoogleChrome 58(since chrome was modified the DirectWrite Mode(clues maybe), FTE rendered not distinctly )

  • Explain your problem in step-by-step detail if possible:

1.Create texts by FTE framework, (it's sure that the font description is specified)

2.Compile the as3 code to swf

3.Play and compare with InternetExplorer and Google Chrome

4.Then you will see the different result directly.

  • A direct link to a web page that demonstrates the problem:none
  • If you get error messages, please quote them exactly: no Error Msg.

Thanks

We have an extensive FTE test suite, and I'm unable to reproduce this problem with Chrome 59.0.3071.47 (64-bit), which is Today's chrome build.  I thought that maybe it was related to WMODE, but I also tried WMODE=direct and WMODE=transparent.  WMODE=transparent is problematic on Chrome, but even there, text rendered fine.

I think there's something more nuanced happening.  Would it be possible to share a SWF that demonstrates the problem?  Direct inspection of the problem will be much faster than trying to guess about what is different between your content and our tests.
