Poor Lightroom performance [Locked. Duplicate.]

Upgraded to the Ryzen 1700, 16gb of RAM and SSD but still painfully slow.  Wondering if it is system related or the large RAW file size of 42mb coming from the D800 that is the problem.  IE, takes about 30 seconds just to do a white balance adjustment.  Any info is appreciated
