I am working on a 100 page document. IT won't have chapters. I really hate sometimes scrolling up and down to specific pages where I'm working. Is there a way I can add quick bookmarks topic wise so that I can easily jump to pages?
InDesign has a Bookmarks panel (Window > Interactive > Bookmark). While it's usually used when exporting PDF files and the like, the bookmarks also work within InDesign by double-clicking on them.

Not necessarily quick, but there are ways to bookmark/hyperlink locations within InDesign documents:
Learn how to create, manage, and edit hyperlinks in InDesign
While it's ostensibly designed to create hyperlinks in output formats (PDFs, ePubs, etc.) it can also serve as an internal reference if you keep the Hyperlinks panel open to show you where the reference(s) are. Just be sure to not use any regular hyperlink styling conventions unless you intend to include the hyperlinks/bookmarks in outputted content.
Steve Werner's response works very well, as well. Especially if you don't want to include hyperlinks in your output format(s). And it has the bonus of not stylizing the type by default. So between his po-tay-to and my po-tah-to, I'd likely go with his suggestion.
