how do i sign a pdf document in acrobat?

I have been trying to sign this document but it won't work. What should I do?

Sorry for the delay in response.

Please check the security settings under the document properties.

Open PDF and go to File menu > Properties  > Security. Check if Singing is allowed.

Could you please confirm if it is an issue with a particular form.

What exactly happens when you try to add a signature to the PDF form.

What is the dot version of Adobe Application and OS installed on your system?

To check the dot version of Adobe application, launch the application and go to Help menu > About Adobe (application name).
