Can't hear audio!

OK. Mute is OFF. All tests are fine for audio and speakers. I can hear sound on things outside of Premiere. I see the audio levels of my video indicate sound. But I can't hear anything.

Would love some help.  ....Susan V

Audio Hardware settings can sometimes change when you just plug a USB microphone or headset into your computer.

Do you have a microphone or headset plugged into your USB? Unplug it.

Also go to Premiere Elements Preferences (under the Edit menu) and check to ensure your Audio Hardware is set to play out your speakers.

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, none of these is the cause of the problem.  What else?
