hi fellow ps:ers,

I'm making a diptych and have picked a dark purple as fill color. when I'm done with all steps and click 'reveal all' the purple color still isn't showing, it's still just grey. what am i doing wrong?

i've put the fill color as the bottom layer.

thanks in advance!

To limit the effect on an Adjustment Layer to one Layer one can

• Clipping Mask it to that Layer or

• put both Layers in a Group and change the Group’s Blend Mode to something else than »Pass through«

Your descriptions seems pretty close to useless to me; could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% and with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

What is the image’s Color Mode?
