Help with text effect

I made a video some years ago for a friend when i started using after effects and i used some text effect i found, the problem is i forgot how i did it, and now i really need to find this effect for a specific job.

At 13 seconds, with the "thalias tree" text. Would help a lot if someone could identify ir or something.

It looks like multiple instances of Simple Choker animated on the text layer.
