Ghoster & blocked tracking

Avatar

Level 2

Has anyone done any extensive testing around widgets and add-ons that block tracking?  I recently ran into a visitor to our website that uses an add-on called ghoaster to block analytics tracking.  It's also causing issues with our website, but that is a separate problem.

Are there any work arounds?

Hi There,

Thanks for reaching out to Adobe Community.

Analytics tracking works through cookies. If the user has used any addon which doesn't let analytics track his info then it wouldn't let the information to reach adobe server.

Read the below link on how the unique visitor data can be tracked:

Thanks!
