Suddenly I got this message when trying to "Edit in" photos from Lightroom/OWC to Silver Efex Pro -

Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file at /Volumes/OWC HD/2017/2017-05-28/IMG_3793-Edit.tif for editing.

It will not be opened.

Please...! Can you help?

Regards Mads

Similar issue here:

error message Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file at/volumes/etc..

Error due to Read Write Permissions. Also if the OWC drive is a NAS device you'll need to set the permissions using its management software.

Hi Mads,

Could you please check that the image is not missing from the catalog? You'll see an "!" sign on the top right side of the image in timeline.

Also, make sure that Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro are both updated to the latest version.

If that's not the case, Take a look at this article 'Edit In Photoshop' command missing

Thanks,

Akash
