If a certificate, embedded in a PDF, has a OCSP url such as
http://oscp.example.com:8080/ocsp
the newest Adobe Reader fails the revocation check and states:
"An attempt was made to determine whether the certificate is valid by doing a revocation check using the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP).
Click Problems to view the problems that were encountered while performing this revocation check."
Manual verification of the same certificate or PDF validation with other tools succeed, confirming the bug in Adobe Reader. Trying to report the bug, report states:
"I would like to inform you that Adobe reader is a free product and support for your version of the product is available only through Forums."

Dear dj66224404,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
This type of error is usually thrown when Reader tries to check the revocation status of the certificate using OCSP protocol.
Please can you try and ping OCSP url that you see in the certificate to check if the server is up and running.
Can you please check "Click Problems to view the problems that were encountered while performing this revocation check" to see the error message
Thanks and regards,
